Senior
Digital Design and FPGA Engineer
We are looking for an
exceptional individual to join our development team. Our product
development activities involve hardware, software and firmware
disciplines. The products that we develop are complex and the
engineering team is challenged to meet our customer needs and
demands on time.
Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for, and
be expected to take control of, all hardware development
activities including schematic capture, board layout and FPGA
logic design.
The candidate should have a clear
understanding of Absolute Analysis technologies and markets. The
candidate should be a quick learner and a fast performer. They
should also have an uncompromising attitude toward product
quality and a clear concept and vision for product design from
concept through development, to production release within
schedule.
The candidate should possess a strong
motivation to succeed with a WILL to win under the most
difficult situations. He/she should be a strong team player.
He/she should have a strong conviction of
customer satisfaction and a "customer ALWAYS comes first"
approach.
Experience Required
-
Over 10 years of experience in
high-speed digital circuit design (1 to 10Gbps), schematic
capture and board layout
-
Experienced in Altera, Xilinx and other
FPGAs and respective development tools and environments.

Strong knowledge in VHDL and Verilog,
logic design, development methodology, simulation and test
benching.

Knowledgeable in data communications and
telecommunications technologies and low level (Phy) protocol
design.

Familiar with common bus structures
- PCI and cPCI; others are a
plus.
