AAI SATA Analyzer

AAI Serial ATA (SATA) Analyzer supports standard link speeds of 1.5 and 3.0 Gbps using either SAS or eSATA connectors. AAI 6 Gbps SATA Analyzer is under development.

SATA Probe Option

With a Probe option that connects to the physical link of the device under test (DUT), the Analyzer can be placed at a convenient location and linked to the Probe via optical cables. This eliminates the problems associated with the distance limitations of SATA testing.

AAI SATA Probe is the first and only product on the market today that enables unlimited distance to DUT for SAS protocol testing. It features:

  • Up to 2 Gigabyte of capture memory per port, with plans to go to 4Gbps in the near future

  • Up to 32 fully time-correlated ports per system

Working With Other AAI Products

AAI SATA Analyzer can work alone or in conjunction with other AAI products to form a unified test environment under the flexible, scalable, and upgradeable AAI architecture.

AAI Bit Error Rate Tester

Together with a AAI BERT, you will gain complete test capability, from physical link connectivity to upper level protocols.

AAI Protocol Editor

By using AAI Protocol Editor, user data within the SATA frame can be decoded in the Trace Viewer and used as the basis for trigger and filter scenarios. Both Idle Frame and Idle Primitive support are provided. Idle frame filters remove unwanted frames from the capture buffer, extending buffer capture times.

Proprietary Frame Information Sequences (FIS) can be added to the protocol database and decoded in the Trace Viewer. They will also be available for trigger and filter scenarios. The Protocol Editor permits users to add additional filter, trigger, and decode information to support additional services, such as vendor-unique commands.

AAI Utility Tools

AAI SATA Analyzer, together with AAI Utility Tools, enable you to capture, Display and Transmit facilities support implementations with and without optional CRC fields. API makes test automation easy.

AAI SATA Analyzer Platforms and Configurations

AAI SATA Analyzers are available in several platforms, from highly portable notebooks to high port count rackmounts.
