We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our development team. Our product development activities involve hardware, software and firmware disciplines. The products we develop are complex and the engineering team challenging and demanding to meet our customer needs on time.
Job Description:
- Candidate will be responsible for embedded software and necessary application development activities for the Analyzer product. The responsibilities would include design, implementation, testing, and configuration management.
- The candidate should have a clear understanding of the technologies Absolute Analysis markets its products in; should be a quick learner and a fast performer; and should have an uncompromising attitude towards product Quality and a clear concept and vision for Product Design from concept through development to production release within schedule.
- The candidate should possess a strong motivation to succeed with a will to win under the most difficult situations. He/she should be a strong team player.
- He/she should have a strong conviction of customer satisfaction that customer always comes first.
Required Experience:
- Organized and disciplined; priority-setting and follow-up skills
- Over 10 years of software design experience in high speed data communication (1 to 10 Gbps)
- Experienced in Microsoft and Eclipse development tools under Windows and Linux environments.
- Strong knowledge in C/C++ and Java, structured development methodology, and aggressive debugging and testing techniques
- Knowledgeable in data and tele-communications technologies and upper layer protocols such tcp/ip, iSCSI.
- Familiarity with common bus structures – PCI and cPCI; others are a plus.
Additional desired skills/qualifications:
- Experience with protocol test tools
- Technical knowledge regarding storage networking
- Experience working with Goldmine Software
