Investigator for Serial Rapid IO
Built on Absolute Analysis' flagship product platform, Investigator TM, this solution utilizes the platform's full capabilities, including full line rate data capture, full protocol decodes and intuitive display of data, and real time statistics. Also, multiple protocols can be supported on the same hardware, thus providing designers the tools they need to validate compliance and interoperability testing necessary in today's networked world.
The Investigator TM for Serial RapidIO supports speeds from 1.25 Gbps to 6.25 Gbps, and include Revisions 1.3 and 2.1 of the Serial RapidIO protocol specification. This will allow any designer to fully utilize the tool on any Serial RapidIO projects, both now and in the future.

The Investigator TM for RapidIO will interface into a device under test using a diverse range of methods, including SMA connectors, a mid-bus probe, and custom connectors. Once connected, external triggers will provide integration with logic analyzers and other external test equipment. This will solve one of the big dilemmas for designers needing to debug and test their Serial RapidIO lines within their system.
